Here are examples of items of jewellery I have created as part of my A-
I have used Photoshop to edit the pictures to enhance the colours and create a bold visual impact.
As part of the topic, I also made a corset out of recycled materials. After researching the history of corsetry, I made the traditional silhouette out of chicken wire. Next, I wove through any litter I could find such as scrap fabric, plastic bags and bubble wrap.
I believe the theme of ‘Recycled Fashion’ can be extended much further as it is such a current topic.
My A-
I started my project by analysing the brief, and then went on to create a mood board. This gave me initial inspiration for designing.
After doing more research, and writing a design specification, I had the right information to start developing my ideas. I feel this page shows my use of silhouette, colour and fabrics.
This is a clarified idea to show how my ideas have developed.
I also did trialling and testing on this page to further my design progress. I am excited to see what the outcome of the project is.
This is my final piece from my AS Level Textiles project.
My brief was to design a top that could be sold on the high street in summer, under the theme of ‘Festival Fashion’.
It shows my technical skills and how I stuck to the brief.
I based this photography in the style of the street artist Slinkachu. I am passionate about photography, and would love to combine it whilst studying fashion.
